Interestingly enough, the offender, Everett Hutson's (look him up) long time attorney was the elder Costine, John, who was a probate, tax and real estate attorney. I know this because John Costine was the attorney who signed the adoption papers for my daughters, one of whom, is Everett Hutson's granddaughter mentioned.
The Western Division court Judge Eric Costine granted victim access to a convicted sex offender during his sentencing, sentencing which consists of 3 years non-supervised probation and a $595 fine. The offender, a former minister in the Church of Christ here, molested his granddaughter and not only did he not get jailtime, but instead he was rewarded with a modified "no victim contact" order, granting him just the opposite.
